BIO
YUKI TANAKA:
I am a Fine Artist & Designer with the love of working with multiple mediums .
Multiple Mediums including: Painting , graphics , costuming , photography, & music. All of it is apart of my jurney of exploring & expressing my self as I connect with the world in layers .
Born in Knoxville Tennesee and raised in Kyoto Japan as well as traveling the east coast of the U.S. , I was creating Art since I can remember & it has been a constant love that has been consistant throughout my life.
My career in Fashion began as an Assitant stylist in South Beach Miami working on music videos for MTV, commercials, & celebrirty Clientel . I was also there Studying Various mediums of Fine Art & Photography at Barry University in Miami.I later headed to New York City to study Fashion & Fine Art at Parson's School of Design.
Chateau De Lion Apparel is inspired by The Art of Performance & the Music / Street Culture of our times....it is the pulse of life I feel in the air . I harness that energy & put it in to the visual & physical representations of that energy in the form of Art, Fashion & music . It is a refelction of the times we live in.
As I designed clothing & created fine Art , I've also continued to work as a stylist in NYC working on various collaborative projects including the John Legend Revolver Tour of 2008 & Fashion Editing at Permission Magazine .
Rather I 'm painting, making a dress or taking a photograph, the love & attention for every thing I do is always the same, and I love watching it all come together over time and working with many amazing people along the way !

ART WITH PURPOSE BECOMES ALIVE IN "REAL TIME" & GROWS AS IT BECOMES A FOREST, A NETWORK OF POSSIBILITIES, LEADERS, REVOLUTIONARIES, HEALERS AND WILLING PARTICIPANTS MAKING THE "IMPOSSIBLE" HAPPEN.
MY VISION WAS TO CREATE ART & HELP CREATE MORE ART HAPPENINGS TO INSPIRE AND GROW TIGHTER COMMUNITIES THROUGH ART, REACHING OUT TO EVERYONE TO JOIN IN WITH EACH OTHER AND THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING ALIVE!
I BELIEVE THROUGH ART WE CAN HEAL AND INSPIRE EACH OTHER! WE CAN EXPRESS OURSELVES AND EXERCISE OUR VOICE! MY ART IS THE EXPRESSION OF THAT LOVE FOR LIFE THAT GETS ME UP IN THE MORNING. EXCITED FOR WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!
MY INTENTION IS TO INCORPORATE AND CROSS INSPIRE FASHION , MUSIC , FINE ART TO HELP OUR
COMMUNITIES MORE DIRECTLY & HELP ISOLATE AND DISSOLVE THE DESTRUCTIVE FORCES & IDEOLOGIES OF THE WORLD A LITTLE BIT AT A TIME ....
TOGETHER, WE CAN LAY IN THE BRICKS OF A NEW ROAD TO A BRIGHTER, HEALTHIER FUTURE THROUGH BRIDGING ART AND COMMUNITY IN ANY WAY
