The Path unfolding....
I was born of a Gypsy Cherokee Confederate Mother in Knoxville Tennessee with a Buddhist Samarai Father from Kyoto Japan . At 2 months old I was off to Japan and grew up there until I later started to live in the states as well . I have traveled all along the East Coast of America during High School with my mom & my siblings until I later graduated and moved to Miami to figure out who I was & where I was going.
One day I was sitting in front of a cafe in South Beach Miami and met a producer, he liked my style, then hired me to start working in the Fashion industry in South Beach Miami where I started as an assistant stylist for Teddy Gunther working with celebrity clientel as I was also working as a stylist with his Production Company, Mae Mae Productions , there I was styling for commercials and Music videos for markets around the world that were shot in Miami.
After getting my feet wet I felt I could take it further. I always enjoy being a stylist , but I also had ideas for garments that do not exist ! So I decided to take all I made from styling in MIami and go to Parson's School of Design in NYC with the intention of starting my own House of Fashion .
CHATEAU DE LION is born of mixing Neo-Punk / Glam Rock / Alice & the Wonderland & Victorian chic all together with a Samurai edge of the 21st Century ! Creating beautiful elegance with an edge ! That's Rockk'n Roll Couture and it is where I live, in my world it is ROCKIN ROLL 24/7 !
Since I have been in NYC I have been very blessed to work on various projects including Fashion Editing for Permission Magazine, being Guest Couture-tailor /stylist for John Legend & his band for the Revolver tour of 2008-2009. & My first Fashion book " Love & Lion '" was featured during Fall Fashion Week 2009 in the Black & White show at Collective Hardware in NYC. I've also had the privilege of doing Fashion show / instillations at Collective Hardware , Chelsea Hotel, and the National Arts Club in the past year .
The Road has been bumpy at times, testing, exciting, amazing, adventurous and has led me to meeting many interesting people & angels along the way . Having the oppportunity to collaborate with other great artist is something that brings me much joy, like my collaboration with Ms. Layla Love , who is an amazing photographer and acitvist of our time . Layla has taken many photos of me including many on this site as she also collaborates with me with our capsule line " LOVE & LION " . I hope you enjoy all I could not help but create with passion and the love for exression & Living.

Love & Lion
Is a collaborative line between Chateau De lion and Love Photography.
The line is dedicated to using fashion as a medium to spread positive and revolutionary messages. With images taken by Ms. Layla Love from all over the world, we use them artistically as prints with text.
Love & Lion is also proud to announce our alliance with NOW.ORG (National Organization of Women) and Out Fitting the Young Feminist Task Force! Look for updates soon regarding our projects and Feminista Fashions. 60% of the proceeds will go toward funding well needed humanitarian projects and events that will commence in April 2010.
